Lagos prosecuted 185 cases in 60 days

Lagos State government prosecuted about 185 cases in March and April from three magisterial districts of Ogba, Ebute-Meta and Ikorodu. The figure was obtained from the monthly report of district prosecutors submitted at the Ministry of Justice. Niece’s murder: UNIPORT student to die by hanging

A Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt yesterday sentenced Ifeanyi Maxwell Dike, a 200 level student of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) to death by hanging. Dike is to die for killing his eight-year-old niece, Chikamso Victory Nmezurumba, for ritual purposes in 2017.
