FG denies ‘stepping down’ inherited projects

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has denied claims that the Federal Government has decided to neglect projects it inherited from previous administrations. Umahi said although the government inherited major road projects awarded 18, 10, and five years ago, it will review the contracts to ensure that such roads are executed for the benefit of Nigerians. Police give vehicle users deadline for e-CMR registration

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has issued a deadline for the registration of vehicles on the digitalized Central Motor Registry (e-CMR) platform. Police spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Saturday said the NPF is set to commence the enforcement of the e-CMR on July 29, 2024.
