Police give vehicle users deadline for e-CMR registration

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has issued a deadline for the registration of vehicles on the digitalized Central Motor Registry (e-CMR) platform. Police spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Saturday said the NPF is set to commence the enforcement of the e-CMR on July 29, 2024. Adejobi said the e-CMR is one of the efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, to enhance the security of lives and properties across Nigeria. DL4ALL: NITDA set to train selected youths as Digital Literacy Champions

In its bid to propel Nigeria towards achieving a 70 per cent digital literacy level by 2027, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with GetBundi Education Technology, is embarking on the training of selected National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members as well as 5,000 Nigerian youths from the creative industry as Digital Literacy Champions.
