Nigeria excluded from HBS programme over negative image — Obi

Labour Party (LP) chieftain, Peter Obi, has expressed sadness over the exclusion of Nigeria from the Harvard Business School (HBS) class of 2025 programme. Obi, in a statement on Wednesday, said Nigeria’s exclusion from such a high-profile programme is a sign of the country’s negative image. “Nigeria’s negative image was on display as Harvard Business School’s class of 2025 programme has selected 16 countries for its global immersion course but notably excluded Nigeria, despite the program leader being a Nigerian professor,” he lamented. “Instead, Kenya, Rwanda, Morocco, and Ghana were chosen as the four African focus countries for this initiative.”

CBN’s 26% interest rate stiffling growth, Dangote laments

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has criticised the latest increment of interest rate to almost 30 per cent by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Gwoza bomb blasts: 20 killed, 52 injured, says Military

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has confirmed that 20 persons were killed while 52 got injured during the recent multiple bomb blasts that rocked the Gwoza Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.
