Don’t panic, viral ‘terrorist video’, recorded six years ago, police tell Nigerians

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has clarified a trending video depicting a group of persons suspected to be armed terrorists carrying assault rifles with a commentary in Hausa language, warning against disinformation. Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement addressed the video that has recently gained significant attention and caused widespread concern, saying it was recorded six years ago. “After thorough and detailed video graphic analysis conducted by the NPF Cybercrime Centre, it has been confirmed that the video in question was originally created and circulated on 28th May, 2018,” Adejobi explained on X. FCCPC partners Bauchi community leaders on consumers’ rights

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has partnered Bauchi Community leaders for sensitisation on consumer protection and rights. Lagos warns residents against building under high-tension power lines

The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) has warned residents against erecting structures or trading under high-tension power lines in any part of the state. LASBCA’s General Manager, Arc. Gbolahan Oki, said this at a meeting with the Baale of Ladigboye Community and representatives of Arewa Communities in Ikorodu.
