A woman, who was reported to have been kidnapped alongside the Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Folorunso Olabode, has been released by her abductors. The victims were abducted on Sunday evening along Isan-Iludun road by unknown gunmen and a councilor at Ilejemeje Local Government Area was shot dead at the scene by these bandits. The Police in Katsina State said on Thursday evening that they have arrested three persons for allegedly insulting the President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Masari on social media. UNWTO decries travel restrictions on 100% of global destinations

The United Nations World Travel Organisation (UNWTO) has revealed in its latest research report that 100 per cent of global destinations have been affected by travel restrictions and bans introduced by countries due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
