CBN debits banks N1.4trn for CRR default

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has debited the country’s 28 commercial and merchant banks, N1.4 trillion for failing to meet Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) targets, Saturday Telegraph learnt yesterday.
