President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, has cautioned Nigerians against unnecessary panic involving panic purchasing of chloroquine drugs in circulation. Ohuabunwa also warned that persons who were exposing themselves to using chloroquine in the absence of suffering the disease, which the drug is meant to address, were only poisoning themselves, a development which could expose them to health risk and may also lead to fatality.
