Ogun to pay workers N30,500 new wage

Ogun State government has reached an agreement with the organised labour to pay N30, 500 as minimum wage to workers in the state. The new wage was arrived at on Tuesday night eight weeks after the negotiation committee between the government and the workers was constituted. A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Kunle Somorin, said the minimum wage would take effect from 1st January, 2020. Oyetola releases N550m for retirees’ entitlements, gratuities

Osun State Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has approved immediate release of N500 million  for the payment of entitlement to retired workers enrolled under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). Head of Service, Dr. Festus Olowogboyega, made this known in a statement issued yesterday in Osogbo, the state capital.
