Germany coach Joachim Low had no doubt that Group F was the “group of death” after Saturday’s Euro 2020 draw, but was surprisingly happy about his side’s draw.

Samuel Chukwueze featured in Villarreal’s 2-1 away defeat to Valencia in Saturday’s La Liga game.

Religious activities should be ban from stadiums — Rojenny Proprietor
Rommy Ezeonwuka, Proprietor of Rojenny Stadium and Tourists Village, has called on government at all levels to ban religious and other non sporting activities in all spots sports stadia in the country.
Ezeonwuka made the call when he received members of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Anambra chapter, who were on tour of sports facilities in the state.
The tour of sports was part of the three day SWAN Week activities in the state.

David de Gea admits ‘lack of quality’ in Man United
David de Gea Quintana, Manchester United goalkeeper has suggested the Premier League side may be lacking quality in some areas.
Manchester United will be facing Aston Villa on Sunday. The team (Man United) failed to win either of their last two games, drawing with Sheffield United and then losing with a youthful team in their Europa League trip to take on Astana.
De Gea told Sky Sports, “The team is what it is, and results are what they have been recently”
“We need to win four or five games in a row to be at the top, but at the moment the team is not playing so well.”
Commenting on the team’s commitment, De Gea said “We’re giving it everything, we’re trying to get those big wins that can put us high up in the table, but the truth is at the moment we’re not consistent enough, there’s much to train and much to improve.

Lewis Hamilton ends pole drought for F1 finale
Lewis Hamilton, a six-time champion ended his nine-race pole drought to ensure he will start from the head of grid for Sunday’s 2019 Abu Dhabi GP finale.
Hamilton’s four-month wait for just the fifth pole position of his dominant title-winning year is over after a brilliant performance saw him outpace Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas by 0.2 seconds with a Yas Marina track record 1:34.779.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was third but is promoted to the front row next to Hamilton, with Bottas to drop to 20th and last owing to a double engine change.
