Jose Mourinho’s appointment as Tottenham’s new head coach makes it his fourth spell in England managing three clubs. He replaces Mauricio Pochettino who was axed after managing to gather a paltry 14 points from their opening 12 Premier League games this season, sitting at a surprising 14th position – a clear case of reversed fortune considering that he managed the side to finish as runners up in the Champions League last season.

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has revealed Mario Balotelli regularly fell victim to the club’s fine policy and was docked well over £100,000 (€116,000/$129,000) for his lateness.
Balotelli, who is currently playing for Serie A side Brescia, spent three seasons at the Etihad between 2010 and 2013. The now 29-year-old has regularly struggled with disciplinary issues throughout his career and that proved true at City too.

Tottenham sack Mauricio Pochettino after sloppy start
Tottenham have sacked manager Mauricio Pochettino after five years in charge of the Premier League club. Spurs have made a disappointing start to the current campaign and are 14th in the Premier League.
“We were extremely reluctant to make this change. It is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste,” said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
“Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing.

Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked by Tottenham.
In a club statement on Tuesday evening, chairman Daniel Levy wrote: “We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the Board has taken lightly, nor in haste.”

Shahadat: Bangladesh ban cricket player for assaulting teammate
The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Tuesday banned former national team fast bowler Shahadat Hossain for three years after he assaulted a teammate in a match.
The temperamental Shahadat was reported by umpires after he was seen to slap and kick a teammate during a National Cricket League match on Sunday.
